A Field Guide to Cryptic Creatures of The Anthropocene
Crypsis, Mimicry, and Symbiosis in Human-made environments
I’m currently building a collection of my imaginary anthropocene wildlife, in the style of a field guide or handbook. It will feature creatures and plants that mimic human-made materials or have symbiotic relationships with humans, including studio-dwelling art mimics, and insects that hide on playing cards or exchange suit pips for a safe habitat on card tables.
This page is currently under construction; stay tuned, the images below will soon link to sections on the species in each taxonomic order.
